Works under direct supervision to perform a variety of janitorial functions for an assigned area.


SALARY:
$11.38 Hourly

GRADE: 37
1. One (1) year experience in custodial services; and
2. Graduation from an accredited high school or possess GED.
3. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
1. Dusts, cleans, polishes, waxes furniture, fixtures, woodwork, and equipment.
2. Washes windows and cleans blinds.
3. Sweeps, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.
4. Disposes of waste materials.
5. Opens and closes offices, and move furniture.
6. Performs all cleaning requirements necessary to the maintenance to bathrooms.
7. Replaces paper towels, maintains soap containers.
8. Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping floors.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
1. Manual dexterity to use common cleaning devices.
2. Ability to learn simple tasks related to janitorial work.
3. Ability to deal with others courteously.
4. Ability to follow instructions.
