Work under general supervision of the supervisor to perform moderately difficulty specialized clerical work involved in organizing, analyzing, processing and maintaining operating, financial, statistical and other specialized reports and records as related to Central Permits at Code Enforcement.

SALARY:
$1,998.00 Monthly

1. Three (3) years’ experience in appropriate clerical, bookkeeping, data processing or statistical work; and
2. Graduation from an accredited High School or possess GED.
3. (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
1. Receives and verifies all required permit information and required permit fees.
2. Enters permit data, provided by contractor, into the Permits Plus database that has been approved by sections within Code Enforcement.
3. Issues and validates all permits after input and forward issued permits to cashier.
4. Checks and enters daily inspection reports for all Inspectors and verify all final permits and ensures that appropriate paperwork is enclosed.
5. Creates invoices from final sign permits and verify existing invoice information is contained within the Permits Plus Database.
6. Completes a daily production report of all completed assignments.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
1. Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
2. General computer knowledge and skills.
3. Ability to review and identify specific codes or documents as related to Code Enforcement permits.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software.
5. Ability to express ideas, clearly, concisely and effectively verbally and in writing.
6. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships with governmental agencies, private agencies and general public and representatives of other agencies.
